Advising a Young Scientist

E.O. Wilson (credit: Wiki-commons)

E.O.Wilson, the evolutionary biologist who studied the social behavior of ants and humans, wanted to offer some wisdom for students considering a path to become a scientist before he passed away. In an open letter he wrote to them Wilson wrote: The world needs you, badly! He read it out loud during an inspiring presentation to a TED conference audience. Wilson reminded us all that wonder and creativity should be at the center of a scientist's, or anyone's, life. WHB
