Combining art and science is the goal of the Underwater Museum near Cancun, Mexico. Created by the sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, the installation is now listed as one of the Top 25 Wonders of the World by the National Geographic Society. Taylor's underwater garden has helped raise awareness of the importance for marine reserves and restoration of coral reefs by the unique environment the structure has created. His presented his work to a TED audience that  showcased both the artistic creativity and ecological importance of this unique museum. WHB
