A bit of film or video can remind us that compassion is required in many unexpected situations, like helping an animal to survive. Sympathy can be offered in both a wild or captive location. At London's zoo, a baby sloth named Edward was abandoned shortly after his birth and his condition illustrates this better than words. WHB
