An attempt by volunteers in Canada was successfully accomplished to rescue a young killer whale in British Colombia. It required knowledge of orca behavior as well as when the high tide would return to the rocky shore where the whale was stranded. More of such of compassionate actions would be welcome. The video says it all. WHB
