The future of air travel

By Reilly Capps True statement: Today, a human did something that was impossible yesterday. I'm not sure what that thing was. Probably, it was many things. But I myself did something that was impossible five years ago, when I used my smartphone to buy a parking pass. It wasn't impossible yesterday. But I'd never done it. Nearly every day now, you see something that you didn't know existed. You see a hod dog vendor taking credit card payment on his iPhone. You see the new lid for the McDonald's cup which prevents spillage. And so it's hard to filter out in your brain what will be possible and useful tomorrow and what is fluff. Take the following video, from AirBus. It envisions a new airplane that is half plane, half pleasure dome, with virtual golf course, bar, and a see-through skin to make a plane into an airborne Amtrak observation car. Are these changes useful? Necessary? The demonstration sure is cool to watch.
