Why Conservation Matters

Master nature photographer, Frans Lanting, offered a personal reflection on why concern for all living creatures is central to his visual craft. Lanting provided this insight to an early TED Conference audience in California. In the presentation he outlined the goal of his photography and why he wants to show wildlife conservation as critical to us as well. His imagery shows that birds, mammals, and other animals powerfully speak with their own voices.
