A Climate Solution Where Everyone Could Win

A Climate Solution Where Everyone Could Win

What if there were business solutions to climate change where everyone wins?

Entrepreneur and author Ted Halstead, founder of the policy think-tank New America, proposes a transformative solution based on the principles of free markets and small government. His plan calls for "carbon dividends" that could trigger a domino effect towards popular, cost-effective, and equitable solutions to the impacts from climate change. He askes an essential question:

"Why are we so deadlocked on climate, and what would it take to overcome the seemingly insurmountable barriers to progress?

Halstead presented his ideas for solutions to a TED conference audience. Sadly, he passed away before they could acted upon and will not know if they were accepted and implemented. Hopefully he is proved right. WHB
