Project Drawdown

Paul Hawken (credit: Paul Hawken)

Paul Hawken, business entrepreneur, environmental writer, and big thinker has created a new endeavor to tackle climate change directly with real and practical solutions, Project Drawdown. According to his organization, Drawdown brought together a qualified, diverse group of researchers from around the world to identify, research, and model the 100 best and existing solutions to tackle climate change. Their effort uncovered potential paths that could roll-back global warming within thirty years, with the means at hand to do it, and where nothing new needs to be invented. The project works to accelerate the adoption what is possible already.

The Drawdown Project is now a book and worth a close read.
