Riding Light

Jump To Light Speed animation (credit: YouTube)

If you were able to hitch a ride on a beam of light, how would things appear? They would probably move slower than you think of as "light speed". Planets and other objects in space would definitely not appear like commonly depicted in SciFi movies as every 'jump to light speed' scene looks. A clever animation gives a proper impression of the vast distances involved even within our own solar system. WHB
