However, marine biologist Jackie Savitz of Oceana, the international marine conservation organization, says fixing our oceans could feed the planet. In a visually dazzling presentation to a TED conference audience, the oceanic researcher explains what is now happening to global fisheries and offers smart suggestions on how to protect and restore the oceans that will benefit everyone.
