The UK's Guardian newspaper has initiated a bold environmental project, Keep It In The Ground, to reduce fossil fuel use and support alternative energy development. The goal is to spread ideas of hope by showcasing innovative solutions to take control of reversing climate change and reduce carbon pollution. The paper will offer articles that highlight actions towards this objective.

One installment from the Keep it in the Ground is a series of climate poems. Each powerful poem in Our Melting, Shifting, Liquid World is read by a well known actor such as Jeremy Irons, James Franco, and Kelly McDonald among others. One example is Turbines in January by Colette Bryce

The Guardian is leading this creative initiative that other media groups should follow. WHB
